1. Position Overview / Purpose Reconciliating accounts to ensure their accuracy.

2. Essential Job Functions • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy • Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested • Follow accounting policies and procedures • Compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable

SKILLS PROFILE EDUCATION Essential • A relevant 3 year B Com degree or diploma with Financial Accounting 3 at NQF level 7. Preferred • A higher degree in Accounting or equivalent NQF 8 qualification. WORK EXPERIENCE Essential • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Financial Department, at least 3 years at a supervisory capacity • Proven management/interpersonal skills. • Initiative and independent decision making. KNOWLEDGE Essential • Advanced computer literacy essential: MS-Office • Proven financial accounting experience.
